The popular iPad countdown app 22 Days HD has been updated to version 2.0, giving users an array of new and exciting features.
On launch, 22 Days HD was featured as a New and Noteworthy app on the main iPad App Store in the US. Now, almost two months later and after being well accepted by users and reviewers alike, version 2.0 is available from the App Store.
Among the new great features of 22 Days HD is the option to automatically create popular and federal holiday events based on the user's geographic location.
22 Days HD 2.0 allows users to take all of their Address Book contacts and add their birthday information as new events. Events are automatically created with contacts photos and depending on the user's choice, notifications may be created on the day of the event or several days in advance.
With this update, users can now share their excitement over upcoming events on social networks by publishing on Twitter and Facebook accurate countdowns.
Countdown events can be completely personalized to the user's likes, creating a unique experience when viewing upcoming events. Users can assign their own photos to events or choose from the included ones. With the inclusion of photos for the most popular events, users are ready to enjoy the app from the start.
Other new features for version 2.0 include a quick event selector, creation of events from received ICS files, automatic regeneration of notifications for recurrent events and an improved quick user guide to help users get the most out of the app.
22 Days HD 2.0 is now available for $1.99 in the U.S. and is priced accordingly in other regions. 22 Days HD is available world-wide in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and German from Appleʼs App Store for iPad.
